Statement of Beliefs
The Bible
We believe that the Bible is God’s word. God said what He meant and meant what He said.
1Peter 1:25 , John 5:39 , Psalms 119:89, 105
The Trinity
We believe in one God. He has revealed himself as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Matt. 28:19 , Mark 1:9-11 , Deut. 6:4
Eternity
We believe man was created to exist forever. He will either exist with God in Heaven or forever be eternally separated in Hell.
John 3:16 , Rev. 20:15 , Rom. 6:23
Salvation
We believe that salvation is a gift from God. We believe everyone born is lost and is in need of a Savior. The blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, is the only way of salvation through the forgiveness of sins. We believe salvation can not be earned through our own efforts. We believe you MUST be born again. In order to receive salvation a person must believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus as sufficient payment for their sins.
Isaiah 1:18, 53:5-6 , Matt. 1:21 , John 1:12, 3:16 , Acts 2:21 , Rev. 3:20
The Church
We believe the church is a local community where believers unify in faith and worship. The local church is committed to sharing the gospel of Grace. We believe everyone needs a home church and that together we can love God, love people and love our life the way our Lord intended. The local church must shine the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ at all times to reach our communities.
Matt. 16:18-19 , Acts 2:41-47 , 1Cor 7:17 , Eph 1:22-23, 5:22-32
